WeatherMallard, the newly-launched weather services division of Mallard Computer, Inc., has announced the development of WeatherQuack, a forthcoming weather community social networking website bringing the weather community together. WeatherQuack, according to WeatherMallard, is “a community quacked up about the weather”.
WeatherQuack will be developed and led by Nathan Parker, Mallard Computer’s President/CEO. Daily management and administration of WeatherQuack will be handled by Johnathan Williamson, Mallard Computer’s Vice President/COO and General Manager of WeatherMallard, who will also take on the role as Product Manager for WeatherQuack.
Nathan Parker stated that the goal of WeatherQuack is to provide a free place to bring the weather community together as a public safety service to the weather community. WeatherQuack will not be a means to deliver major competition with other major websites and services in the weather community, but Parker does expect to leverage his wealth of connections in the weather industry to bring the weather community together using WeatherQuack, while having fun doing so in the process.
WeatherQuack will “hatch” this summer (if not sooner), with members able to join WeatherQuack for free at http://weatherquack.com. More details concerning WeatherQuack will be forthcoming as soon as WeatherMallard has an opportunity to “get its ducks in a row”.
